The Mission of the Foundation is to support the needs and dreams of hospitality workers by offering career paths, growth opportunities, and propelling career advancement while offering financial support. We are committed to acting as a safety net for hospitality workers in Hudson and Union Counties and believe that the hospitality industry is one that provides endless opportunities for all. It is an industry which has no bias, and an individual’s achievements are limitless as long as they possess a willingness to learn and have a passion for giving. We include a paid internship in hospitality, full-time internships at our farms, and employment advancement classes and career coaching.

HUG (Help US Give) is Landmark’s Community Giving Program committed to giving back to the communities in which we do business. Established in 2001, 10% of each of our restaurant’s three most popular tables is contributed to our HUG Fund, helping to support community events and non-for-profit groups. HUG efforts have been recognized by American Express & the National Restaurant Association. Landmark Hospitality has been awarded the “Good Neighbor Award” for the State of New Jersey as well as the “Governors Diamond Award on Tourism.”

Businesses for Better Neighborhoods was formed by Frank and Jeanne Cretella, the founders of Landmark Hospitality, and is their way of giving back to the communities which have supported them since the inception of Landmark  over 20 years ago. Based in Plainfield, NJ, BFBN is a  non-for-profit 501 C-6, dedicated to supporting both small businesses and the communities they serve. Our Mission is to represent and join with others to advocate for small businesses and to support causes and people with values and purposes similar to those of small businesses.
